Rozicki vs Phuzi, October 25th - POSTPONED

Three Lions Promotions regretfully announces that the scheduled WBC Continental Americas title fight between Ryan Rozicki (20-1, 19 KOs) and Akani Phuzi (14-3, 7 KOs) — originally set for October 25th at Centre 200 — has been postponed.

The decision comes after Rozicki re-injured his bicep during sparring this week. The same arm underwent surgery earlier this year in May, and medical specialists have now advised additional recovery time before returning to full training.

“Ryan has had a tough go in 2025 but he is still in good spirits. We’ll be announcing a new date in the days to come,” said Daniel Otter, Managing Director of Three Lions Promotions. “It’s awful when this happens and I truly sympathize with all the boxers who were preparing to compete on the October 25th card. That being said, Ryan will have to wait just a little longer to get back in the ring — and he will be a world champion in the new year, mark my words.”

Rozicki himself added:
“I followed all the doctor’s advice and began sparring a couple of weeks ago, but I guess I need some more time. I’ll be back stronger than ever in the new year — and I’ll be ready to become the champion of the world in 2026.”

Three Lions Promotions will confirm the new fight date shortly, and all ticket holders will be informed of options once rescheduling details are finalized.
